Shamelessly stolen from Daknockman's collection without permission, we've now finished watching these 4 DVDs. Series 8 is a turn up for the books - at times a little stretched, but on the whole far funnier than the previous ... 5 series. The Brad Pitt episode is good fun, and the stories manage to have a bit of edge about them; plenty of plot to go on this time round. Definitely worth watching on C4, though less essential to own unless you're not happy waiting for the re-runs. The DVDs are the usual affair with 'extended' episodes on one side and the originals on the other. Quite what is extended about them, I haven't quite gathered, but Friends isn't something that you want bundled with oodles of extras (and how many would there be...) so the episodes themselves are fine. Thumbs up from me, but if it weren't for the unfinished plot, I'd be happy for them to leave it here and pack up their bags.
