So, this place looks pretty horrific if you're using the insecure, inexplicable, non-conformist, capitalist, mutant Internet Explorer.

But it looks pretty cool if you're using Firefox. Point made, and taken.

I've had to homogenise the style for now due to some work that's going on behind the scenes, stripping some of the data to bits and chucking it elsewhere. I'm aware that the transparency in the main column is annoying in that it interferes with images, but that's web stuff for you. I'll remedy it with another idea I have.

In the meantime, I figure the best beta test is just to chuck it out there, so please let me know what bugs you come across and I'll try and sort them out so that we can work to an eventually conclusion.

right, so looking at this at work is not really an option - they are still on an IE and I can only see half the screen... and a crazy screen it is!

Just an additional bit of feedback, but i don't think the use of more than one font works very well.

The migrane was nothing to do with the fact that you had been staring at a computer screen for 10 hours straight doing your dissertation. The colour scheme isn't that bad!

At home I dont always get the full text its like the quick reply box overlaps the last posting a little. Often means I can't read all of a post
